My Must-Haves for Fall Part 1

Hello my Beauties! Okay I want to share with you my must-haves for fall. I am going to have 2 parts only because this may be a long blog all together
and I don't want to bore all of you out there :P
Alright, so right now I want to start off with my must haves for just hanging around the house. This one may be a short blog (LoL)

Sweatpants & Sweatshirts!
I love to feel comfortable and cozy at home during Fall/Winter, and especially when it's a rainy day. I don't even think you'll catch me wearing anything else but sweatpants and a hoodie. These are great just because if you're not planning to go anywhere and you just want to lounge around at home and relax, maybe watch a movie, why not be comfortable?

Fuzzy Socks!

I own probably about 4 pairs of fuzzy socks (lol) I'm not even joking.  When it's cold around the house, i will put these bad boys on and my feet are all nice and warm :) Not only do these socks keep my feet nice and warm but they are super soft! I prefer these than my ordinary socks during Fall/Winter.

I usually get these at Target, JC Penny, and they aren't really that expensive either! They even make great stocking stuffers!

Slippers!

If you're not a huge sock person, and don't like wearing socks, then get yourself some slippers. It's important to make sure your feet are staying warm, to prevent from getting sick because that is no fun. Especially when it is cold, and you're barefoot and you happen to step on really cold tile either it be in your kitchen or bathroom slippers come in handy, and again they make great little gifts for friends and family!

Blankets!

Okay, you can never have enough blankets during the Fall/Winter. Rainy season is around the corner, and if you don't prefer to use your heater because you want to save money, then stock up on some blankets!

Maybe even invest in a heating blanket :) They are great for those cold nights, or if you happen to be snuggling next to someone, instead of piling on blankets, just turn up the heat with your electric blanket! I tend to get really cold before I go to bed, and a heating blanket makes all the difference!

Product Review: Soft Lips

Alright, well I am VERY disappointed with this product, I'm going to be up front and honest. I really had high hopes for Soft Lips' Lip Balm and I was completely let down.
I have to re apply the product every 5 minutes because my lips dry out SO quickly!

Grant it, they smell wonderful and and when the product WAS on my lips, it did make my lips feel moisturized and soft, but legit 5 minutes later, if I even made it that far and i had to re apply it again.

I'm a big fan of Chapstick and any sort of lip balm, and it was a good deal when I bought them (2 sticks for about $2.20) but after using it for almost a week, I've decided that it was the WORST lip balm I've ever used.

I hope maybe it was just me and some of you out there have had better luck with it than I did but I am simply not satisfied :(

Ways to reduce hair breakage!

Hey there ladies and gentlemen!
I'm sure there are several of you out there who at some point in time, have notice a lot
of hair breakage. I've been there! So now i am going to try and help you out by sharing ways
to help reduce hair breakage :)
Let's get started shall we?

Make sure to trim your ends!
Okay, I will fully admit that I am very bad at trimming my hair every 4-6 weeks or however many weeks that it is required, and i end up with very dried ends, and I have to cut more hair than I wanted to just so I can make my hair healthier.

By trimming your hair as recommended, this will help eliminate the chances of split ends getting out of control to the point where they either break off on their own, or the hair splits all the way up the hair shaft and a SERIOUS cut is needed. So keep up with your hair! Only trim the bottom of your hair a little at a time: 1/4 - 1/2 an inch, plus they are less traumatic if a serious cut is needed ;-)

Protein, Protein, Protein!
Protein is what's going to make your hair stronger and healthier. There are many different proteins that have specific functions in which some of them bind to the hair cuticle to help rebuild any weakened areas.

Those who have relaxed or color treated hair like myself, are in need of more protein than others due to coloring and relaxing breaks protein.

However, you must keep in mind that TOO MUCH protein will have the reverse effect on your hair! What I mean by this is that, having WAY too much protein then you need will cause your hair to dry out rather than restore!

Manage your heat!
Ladies! I know it is very difficult to let your hair naturally be itself lol, trust me.
Using heat, especially high heat on your hair everyday, will only draw out moisture leading to breakage, and even hair loss.

Using excessive heat on your hair on a daily basis, only adds stress to your hair, so let your hair breath! Cut back on the amount of heat, or remember to ALWAYS use a heat protectant! This is crucial and I cannot stress this enough! Also, invest in a humidifier, and turn it on at night, the moisture that is created will help with any dryness!
