My Foundation Routine

Hey there ladies!
Here is my foundation routine, it's fairly simple so I hope you all enjoy!

1. Primer
Right now I like to use NYX's Pore Filler (I'm not even sure if that is considered a primer) but I will mostly focus on my problem areas (ex: Nose, chin, cheeks).
This is will fill in your pores and give you a smooth finished look

2. BB Cream

I also use Maybelline's BB Cream. really like this product, It goes on smoothly and evenly. I only take just a little and apply it all over my face and a little on my neck and this is good because it has SPF 30 :)

3. Concealer

I only put concealer underneath my eyes because I tend to have some dark spots that I need to hide lol. I enjoy using NYX's High Definition Photo Concealer Wand . It goes on like butter and it really hides the dark spots well

4. Foundation(s)
I am currently using 2 different types of foundation just to see which one I am liking more but I can't seem to choose one because they are both awesome. I am using L'Oreal's True Match in N2 Classic Ivory, and Covergirl's TruBlend in Level 1 # 410 (I think it's also called classic ivory) They both apply very smoothly and it gives me great coverage and I don't feel cakey. I usually use a sponge to apply but I just ordered a stippling brush so I will see which one I prefer ^_^.

I hope this helped out, and I just recently created a Facebook Page so go check it out!

Shaping My Eyebrows

As of right now I do not go and get my eyebrows done professionally. I just use a few simply items that be bought at your local drug store (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, etc)
Here I am going to show you step by step how I shape my eyebrows at home

Link: Facebook: BearBeauty

1. Eyebrow Trimmer
Before I begin I will use my Eyebrow Trimmer to trim the top of my eyebrows as shown in the picture above, and in between my brows to get rid of any Uni-brow that might occur =P

2. Waxing

After trimming, I like to use Veet's Ready-To-Use Wax Strips. So, I just take the wax strip and place it right underneath my brow like so...

3.Tweezing
After i am all done with waxing, if there any are single strand hairs that I happened to miss I will take my tweezers and simply pluck those hairs out.

4. Perfect Finish Wipes
And finally! I use Veet's Perfect Finish Wipes and this helps remove any left over wax and helps reduce redness after waxing and there you are your eyebrows are done without taking out your credit card ;-)

Here are some of the tools that I use:
  1. Brow Shaper Wax Strips
  2.  Eyebrow Trimmer
  3. Tweezers

Products I regret buying

And here it is! a list of products that I completely regret spending a single penny on. I hope this will help out any of you out there that are possibly looking into buying any of these products. This is SOLELY based on my personal experience and opinion.

1. E.L.F's Essential Lip Stain.
Okay! so I just recently bought this product, and when I mean recently I do mean recently. So I thought that I would save money and buy a lip stain from E.L.F since they do tend to have pretty legit products and I did NOT want to spend $8-9 dollars on a L'Oreal Lip Stain and E.L.F's cost me $2!!! I just got the box and I wanted to try it out, and I was VERY disappointed! There is hardly any color that comes out and it doesn't even apply easy at all and I'm just upset that I bought it. Yes i understand it was very cheap BUT i am a frequent buyer of E.L.F products and this one was a let down!

2. Riveting Reds Shampoo & Conditioner
Before I dyed my hair black I had bleached part of my hair and then I got bored and I dyed the blonde  a red color. Since I was going red I decided to buy a shampoo/conditioner that would help put color back into my hair because red is extremely hard to up-keep. I picked up Riveting Reds Shampoo & Conditioner since the product is red. What I mean by that is the actual product that comes out of the bottle is RED. I did what I was supposed to do when washing my hair i washed in cool/cold water so that the color would not strip, but since my hair was blonde the color did not last, nor did this help make my color last longer. Maybe I wasn't using it correctly, or maybe it was because bleach ate through the red color? I don't know but I am not buying this product again since i don't think I will be going red again any time soon.

3. Drug Store Blender Brush
I was not patient and I decided to buy a face blending brush from my local drug store because I did not even think about buying a decent brush from Ulta or E.L.F (like I said I am a frequent buyer). The brush seemed decent and I didn't think I was going to have any problems but when I used this for blending out my foundation a lot of the "hairs" fell out whenever I used it and it was very irritating. I definitely will not be buying brushes from my drug store >_<

4. Pantene Medium-Thick Heat Protection & Shine Spray
I haven't used this product since I bought it so that is pretty much the reason why this is on my list of products i regret buying. It seriously is collecting dust just sitting on my dresser, that and I don't like the spray design of the bottle.

5. Doo Gro Leave-in Gro Treatment
Alright, I was looking for something to help my hair grow a little faster and thicker. I went to Sally's and I found this product. I tried it out for quite a while and I hardly saw any results but I still used it trying to be optimistic.  Again I did not see hardly any growth difference in my hair, i mean yes it did make my hair feel thicker but it also made my hair feel like a ton of product was in my hair and I wanted to wash my hair again after it already been washed.

Remington Hair Straightener

Link: Facebook: BearBeauty

Alright! I am going to answer all of your hair straightener prayers
(well at least I hope I do :])

I just found an amazing hair straightener and it is not a fancy expensive one either, it's actually a pretty inexpensive and good quality hair straightener.

If you are currently looking, look no further! Remington's Anti-Static Digital Ceramic Hair Straightener 1 3/4" S5520 is the one to buy!
This bad boy is my FAVORITE hair straightener. I've only had about 4 straighteners (including the InStyler) and the last one that I had I've been using for over 3 years and I came to the realization that I am going to need a new one.

I actually purchased this straightener at Target for about $22 ( I can't remember the exact total) and I was thoroughly impressed. I think they have a purple/burgundy one but I am not sure. So,what's so great about it you ask? Well me tell you...

1. It heats up VERY quick!!!
(it says 30 sec and I would roughly agree, I never timed it but it heats up QUICK)
2. It glides off your hair like BUTTAH! yes butter!
3. My hair doesn't get caught in the corners like my past straighteners!
4. My hair looks very shiny after it being straighten!
5. It's an overall AWESOME hair straightener

So I hope this gave you some insight and some sort of idea on which Straightener to buy, and I am not just talking out of my ass, I LOVE this hair straightener! And! like I said it's decently priced, not $100 like some of the high end straighteners, so go check it out! ^_^

Favorite Beauty Products

Hey there Ladies!

Right now I want to share with all of you dolls what my favorite makeup products are and which ones I use the most. If you need any details on the items I list please don't hesitate to leave a comment and ask! :D

Before I put on any makeup I like to prep my face with NYX Pore Filler. I love this stuff because it will smooth out any lines and fill in pores to give a nice doll finish look. I will use this little magic in a bottle as a base/primer before putting on any concealer and believe me this will make a difference with your makeup!

I am really into Neutral colors as well as some Pinks/Purples so I am very happy that BH Cosmetics has a 120 Pallet 5th Edition that mainly has those Neutral/Pink/Purple as well as blacks and greys if you want to do like a smokey eye :) I am a huge fan of BH Cosmetics and I also have an 80 Neutral Pallet that I am in love with because like I said I am a huge fan of Neutral colors

If you have never heard of the company E.L.F you definitely should. They have a lot of makeup essentials for a VERY cheap price, and let me stress VERY cheap! I purchased quite a few items from this company including Lipsticks, brushes, blush, and a finishing spray. I must admit that for such a very cheap price I am impressed with some of their items. There are certain things that I will not jump for joy but I'll admit the products that I do have I am satisfied with them. I would buy from them again.

The one thing I love about makeup, is that depending on my mood I can choose the color lipstick that matches my mood. If I am feeling a bit "Daring" I can put on a bright red lipstick  to match that daring feeling. If I want to be "Bubble Gum Girly" I can put on a Barbie Pink lipstick, and that is why I love Maybelline's Color Sensational Lipstick. They come in all kinds of colors, and it's pretty long lasting for the most part. The colors I have are: Yummy Plummy, Coral Crush, Very Cherry, Party Pink, and Red Revival.

Along with my Lipstick I will use a lip balm to give my lips a bit more moisture and since I tend to always lose my chapsticks I decided to pick up something that I couldn't lose, my EOS Lip Balm. These cute little things are wonderful; to me they seem to last a lot longer than an ordinary Chapstick would and I do not have a problem losing it because they are a big and bright colored and they smell awesome, I have strawberry and a summer fruity one but I can't seem to remember the name but it's that red one in the picture! ^_^

Since my eyelashes aren't very long, and I don't wear false ones that much, I am so glad that I found the perfect mascara to help fulfiill my long lash desire. This is my ultimate FAVORITE mascara of all time. Maybelline's Falsies Mascara is amazing! It's gives my lashes more volume and makes them look a lot longer than they normally are. If any of you ladies are looking for a well worth mascara, this is the one!

So there you are ladies, a little bit of what is in my makeup bag :) I hope you all enjoy and if you haven't already please check out my "Hair Care" and Skin Care" blog!
