Wen Cleansing Conditioner

So I am pretty sure that I am not the only one who has used this product, and right now I am going to give you my honest opinion:

To start off, I am not a huge fan of this product. I mean do not get me wrong, I followed the instructions and I had an open mind and high hopes that this would be the product to put an end to my clustered shelf in the shower, but I was not impressed.

Before I go any further, let me explain what this product was "Designed" to accomplish:

It was created by Chaz Dean, a celebrity stylist, and it was said and demonstrated that this would be a "revolution" to Hair Care. Wen was formulated to be a 5-in-1 product that included: Shampoo, Conditioner, Detangler, Deep Conditioner, and a Leave-In Conditioner. Not only is Wen designed to ease any troubles with managing your hair, but also if your hair was color treated, this was supposed to help keep your color vibrant, make the color longer lasting, and help reduce any color from stripping when you washed it, because it would was created to be a product that you could use everyday.

Now, since I've given you a little info about this product, I can go forth with sharing with you my dilemma. I had dyed my hair red using Revlon's Colorsilk Luminista. I had thought that since Wen was constructed to help color treated hair, I didn't think that I had to worry about anything. After washing my hair the first couple times, I saw my color rinse away in the shower. I did NOT see any improvements to my hair NOR did the color remain vibrant or lasted longer. As usual, my color faded fairly quickly (Red hair is very difficult to upkeep in general (>_<).

Along with my color slipping away from me, I noticed that when I was done washing my hair and was letting it air dry, my hair had still felt dirty and oily! However, I kept an open mind and continued to use it. After been using Wen for about a week and a half, I decided to discontinue using this product. My hair did not feel as soft as I wanted it too, I still had knots, and overall I was just not satisfied. I really did think that I would be super happy, and could clear out all the shampoos and conditioners and not have to stress about what deep conditioner I should buy and what I can do to help take care of my color.

I hope that there are others out there who had a better experience using Wen Cleansing Conditioner than me :( I think I will stick to my Redken from now on <3
